Chalet Hotels Limited has recently announced a significant milestone with the acquisition of the ‘Courtyard By Marriott Aravali Resort, NCR (CYMA)’ for a transaction value of INR 3,150 Cr. Spread across 14 acres of lush landscape, this 158-room resort holds immense potential for expanded offerings under Chalet’s management.

The acquisition was facilitated through the execution of definitive agreements with ‘Ayushi and Poonam estates LLP’, the current owner of CYMA. With the expertise of Hotelivate as transaction advisors, Chalet Hotels is poised to enhance the resort’s offerings and further its reputation as a premier destination for leisure travelers, MICE events, and destination weddings.

Since its inception in June 2022, CYMA has garnered acclaim as a preferred choice for discerning travelers, owing to its strategic location within 1.5 hours from New Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida, as well as its proximity to the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The property’s robust performance, with an ADR of approximately Rs 13,500 for YTD December FY24 and occupancy of 44%, underscores its potential for growth and profitability.

Boasting a diverse culinary experience with an all-day dining restaurant, bar & lounge, pool bar, and pan-Asian restaurant, CYMA caters to the gastronomic preferences of its guests. Additionally, the resort offers a wide range of recreational facilities, including a gym, spa, pool, and dedicated kids’ play area. Adventure enthusiasts can also indulge in on-premises activities such as ziplining, quad biking, paintball, and more.

Sanjay Sethi, MD & CEO of Chalet Hotels Limited, expressed enthusiasm about the strategic alignment of the Courtyard by Marriott Aravali Resort with the company’s growth strategy. He emphasized Chalet’s commitment to capitalizing on emerging opportunities in the leisure space and solidifying its position as an industry leader.

As a key player in the hospitality sector, Chalet Hotels has garnered recognition for its ability to generate asset value through upscale to luxury hospitality assets and strategic acquisitions. With the addition of CYMA to its portfolio, Chalet reaffirms its dedication to delivering exceptional experiences and driving sustainable growth in the hospitality industry.
